About MIAI
The Mutual Insurance Association of Iowa (MIAI) is an association created by county and state mutual insurance companies domiciled in Iowa that operate under either Chapter 518 or 518A of the Iowa Code. We currently serve over 100 member companies throughout the state, most of which have been in business over 100 years.
The purpose of our association is to provide quality educational programs and networking opportunities to enhance our member companies' ability to serve consumers. An important function is to advocate their interests before state and federal legislative and regulatory officials.
Our Mission
The mission of the Mutual Insurance Association of Iowa is to promote the farm mutual insurance philosophy and the perpetuation of Iowa's mutual insurance industry.
